By creating a Crossfaded account or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you're accepting on behalf of an Organization (a venue or promoter), you're confirming you have the authority to bind that Organization to these terms.
2. The service
Crossfaded is a booking and residency-management platform for the live-music and nightlife industry. It helps Organizations (venues, promoters, event operators) manage DJ rosters, schedule events, and coordinate availability, and helps DJs manage their profile, availability, and bookings across the Organizations they work with.
Crossfaded is currently invite-only — new Organization accounts are created through an onboarding link issued by us, and DJs join through an invite from an Organization or a general application/join link.
3. Accounts & roles
There are two kinds of account on Crossfaded:
Organization accounts
Represent a venue, promoter, or event operator. Organization staff can create events, manage their DJ roster, send invites, and view roster availability. You're responsible for the accuracy of information your Organization publishes and for who on your team has access.
DJ accounts
Represent an individual performer. DJs are responsible for keeping their profile, availability, and mix submissions accurate and up to date, and can belong to more than one Organization at a time.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
4. Bookings
Crossfaded helps Organizations and DJs find each other, schedule sets, and track availability — it does not process payments and is not a party to any booking, performance, or payment agreement between an Organization and a DJ. Fee arrangements, cancellation terms, and payment are matters between the Organization and the DJ directly, and Crossfaded is not responsible for enforcing or mediating them.
Availability data (including the multi-block, time-of-day availability DJs set) is self-reported. Crossfaded uses it to suggest matches and flag conflicts, but Organizations and DJs are both responsible for confirming actual availability before finalizing a booking.
5. Your content
"Content" means anything you upload or submit — profile photos, mix submissions, messages, event briefs, announcements. You keep ownership of your content. By submitting it, you grant Crossfaded a license to store, display, and process it as needed to operate the platform (for example, showing your mix submission to the Organization reviewing it, or your profile photo to Organizations you're rostered with).
Don't upload anything you don't have the rights to, or anything that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
Use Crossfaded for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful.
Attempt to access another user's account, or another Organization's data, without authorization.
Circumvent the invite-only signup system or share onboarding/invite links with people they weren't intended for.
Upload content that's defamatory, infringing, or that you don't have the right to share.
Interfere with or disrupt the platform (including attempting to probe, scan, or overload our infrastructure).
7. Intellectual property
The Crossfaded name, logo, and platform (excluding user content) are owned by us. Nothing in these terms grants you rights to our trademarks or branding beyond what's needed to use the service normally.
8. Third-party services
Crossfaded relies on third-party infrastructure to operate, including Railway (hosting), Cloudflare R2 (file storage), Resend (email delivery), and optionally Google (for "Continue with Google" sign-in). Your use of those integrations is also subject to the relevant provider's own terms where applicable.
9. Termination
You can stop using Crossfaded at any time. We can suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, poses a security risk, or is inactive for an extended period, and we'll make a reasonable effort to notify you first except where immediate action is needed (for example, to stop abuse).
10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
Crossfaded is provided "as is." We work to keep it available and accurate, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that availability/matching suggestions will always be correct — you're responsible for confirming booking details directly with the other party. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crossfaded is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including missed bookings or scheduling errors.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. We'll update the "last updated" date above, and for material changes we'll make a reasonable effort to notify active users directly before the change takes effect.
